DESCRIPTION OF YOGA CLASSES

 

GENTLE YOGA

(img - Yoga Session)     Appropriate for beginning students with back problems, injuries or other limitations, seniors & those wishing to gently get back into shape. Special attention is given to assist you to strengthen and decompress your back, while focusing on your body-mind connection thru your breath. Restorative poses are included in this class.

 

BEGINNING TO INTERMEDIATE

    Beginning to Intermediate Yoga is for students to learn asanas (postures) & variations that are appropriately challenging for each individual. Beginning to Intermediate flowing Sun Salutations & other sequences will be explored. Learn to create a powerful breath that frees your body & mind!

INTERMEDIATE TO ADVANCED

    Intermediate to Advanced Yoga is for the Yogi who is free of Injuries & is ready for more challenging flowing sequences that are linked with the breath. Arm balances may be offered.

General Information 

    All classes conclude with relaxation or meditation.
    Core strength work is included in all classes.
    Classes are eclectic in style (Flow, Hatha, Iyengar, Kundalini & Viniyoga in the tradition of Sri T. Krishnamacharya )
